Have you ever worked somewhere and thought, I wish I could just get an answer to this question? Or better yet, have you overheard someone’s struggles and thought, well if you would have asked, I could have happily helped! We understand those struggles all too well, so five years ago we created our online community called “Rent One Co-workers Helping Others.” It’s our place to share, ask and create!
We have almost 600 active members and average 300+ posts, 1,500+ comments and 5,000+ reactions a month—this group is ALWAYS talking! Our coworkers post everything from birthdays and celebrations to client wins and requests for showroom advice. It’s a space where our coworkers are able to share and engage across our 100+ locations, enabling them to learn more, celebrate bigger and get help right away. We understand the importance of having a space where our coworkers can have ownership of the content and encourage them to do so freely.
There are also other benefits to having an online community, including random breakfast contests, live announcements from our CEO and spur-of-the-moment rewards prompted by great conversations. So whether you have a question, need a new idea, just like to scroll Facebook or love a good contest, our online community offers it all. We’re always excited to see what our new coworkers will contribute to the conversation!
